I’m Ashley Boydston, the photographer behind Refined Influence Photography LLC.
My work is rooted in storytelling, connection, and a refined visual style designed to stand the test of time. In a world of fast trends and fleeting aesthetics, I focus on imagery that feels intentional, elevated, and lasting. My goal is to deliver photographs that you’ll love just as much years from now as you do today.

Founded in 2017 following the birth of my first child, Refined Influence Photography began as a deliberate pursuit of both artistry and excellence. What started as a passion quickly evolved into a professional practice grounded in continuous education, refinement, and growth.
Over the years, I have expanded my work across multiple disciplines, become a published photographer, and traveled nationwide creating imagery for clients who expect a high level of quality and professionalism.
As demand for commercial photography and videography grew, the brand naturally evolved which has allowed for the expansion into both luxury client services and dedicated commercial media, while maintaining the same elevated standards throughout every offering.

As demand for commercial photography and videography increased, Refined Influence Photography expanded to meet a growing need in the local market. In the beginning of 2025, it became clear that businesses, and real estate professionals in particular, needed more than individual services. They needed a complete, reliable media solution.
417 Media & Co. was created to serve as an all-in-one resource for commercial visuals. From professional headshots and on-location branding sessions to real estate photography, drone media, and video content, the goal is simple: to provide consistent, high-quality media that supports business growth and marketing efforts.
This expansion included increased focus on video production and obtaining FAA Part 107 certification for licensed drone operations. During this time, I had the opportunity to film the introduction and Beyond the Crown videos for Miss Missouri Teen USA — a project that was later featured nationally after her win at Miss Teen USA. Experiences like this continue to shape the direction and growth of 417 Media & Co.

A Lifelong Pursuit of Photography
My relationship with photography began long before it became a profession. As a child, I carried disposable cameras everywhere. To the zoo, across the farm, and anywhere curiosity took me. I chased what I believed were amazing images, learning instinctively what worked, what did not, and how to see the world through a frame.
As technology evolved, so did my tools. Point and shoot cameras replaced disposables, and photography became a constant companion. I documented everyday life, quiet moments, and places that felt worth remembering. At twenty one, I purchased my first DSLR, marking the moment photography shifted from curiosity to lifelong craft.
Today, that passion continues to guide my fine art work. My camera travels with me everywhere. On hikes, across the country, and even onto the slopes while snowboarding. Each image is created in pursuit of something lasting. A moment, a landscape, or a feeling worthy of being printed, displayed, and enjoyed forever.
These fine art prints are the result of years spent observing, refining, and honoring the beauty found in both movement and stillness.
